That got your attention.

I told Andy I want two cameras. In less than four hours I had paid for three cameras and a DVR.

He took time to answer all my questions and quickly sucked my PayPal account dry (in a good way).

I am looking forward to receiving the equipment and I hope for a very long relationship with Andy.

Thanks to "jasont" and all the comments here for leading me to Andy. I hope I can add to the value of this forum.

I'm pretty quick to pick up on the good guys and those that purely BS.

I hope my attempt at light humor does not offend anyone here.

I doubt that it will. Those that are thin-skinned or have raw nerves tend to fall by the wayside after a while....

Welcome to the forum!
Thank you for the comments. I've spent a few hours reading as many related posts as I was able and so far I'm impressed with the forum and members.

Small world...unless you are not the real Gary Funk from the UD forum?

I ordered 2 cams from Andy 7 months ago and just ordered another one from him. I and many others on here think Andy is great! Of course you probably already knew that since you've obviously been doing some reading.

Looking over Ali it's clear he is not the cheapest. However, further research will show he is reliable and one needs to understand that shipping is never free. It's built into the price.

I ordered one time from Ali Express and it took a month for the cameras to get to me.

I'm relieved to see a familiar face from UD over here, .. I was afraid I did a horrible job of trying to explain about how much I've learned here at ipcamtalk (any how great Andy has been to work with). :)

Well, you did great. I became fed up with UDI and that forum. So much bad information and so little being done. I researched the information and customer reviews and went with Andy.

I can tell you more if you want to PM me.

I have the cameras connected to the NVR and everything is working. The next step is to start running Ethernet cables and install the 4GB drive.

Now I need to figure out what to do with the audio in and out connections.

I don't complain when my wife buys another 100 Ao Dai and she doesn't complain when I buy new toys.

Of course she might notice the new Jet 725001K table saw I just ordered.
She can hide a new pair of shoes no problem.. A table saw is a bit more noticeable, ouch

Welcome aboard GaryFunk! Yes Andy is great! I have only been here a short time and have already referred co-workers to him to place orders in addition to my own.

I've gotten 11 cameras from Andy, 8 of them PTZ's. Every single delivery has been amazingly fast, except one that I had not notice was China Post instead of DHL.
It's easier to get approval from the home CFO if she only sees one every few months. Not sneaking them in. She has to sign for the DHL deliveries.

Andy is a huge part of my system's performance/price ratio
