Frustrate: Blur....

Ok, this is an image set at 1/60 fixed and gain of 0-5.
Yes, blurry.
I will reset to early configuration that got me the best image so far.
Then I will insert an SD into the camera to capture without going through BI.

Yes.
And Gain 0-50 is standard in most cameras during the day. No worries about that. 0-5 will be very dark

Remember, tis is ALL about exposure, DNR, and to some degree bitrate (good daytime images should be easy peasy)

Yeah I said a gain with a small window just to not allow the gain to ramp up or down with a light colored car against that dark green background - I think that is some of the issue.

Maybe make gain 50-50 the same so it doesn't react.

And yeah a screenshot from BI is showing that square box phenomena - could be the camera or the monitor.

Instead of a screenshot like you are doing, right click the mouse and select SNAPSHOT so that you are getting an image exported out of BI instead of a screenshot of what your monitor is displaying

Here is a side issue I am experiencing. Attached is the "snapshot" directly from BI.
It does not upload from my PC properly.
The way I get around that is to open the "snapshot" jpg image, do a screen shot and save as a second jpg image.
The screen shot jpg is then able to be uploaded.

The two images do look the same resolution and results though. (in case that helps)

That is strange for sure.

We gotta get an uncompressed image out of that thing
Question about getting to files on the SD card.

I have been spending my time getting the SD card installed, formatted, enabled and all setting inside the camera enabled for motion capture, etc.
The SD card has been storing files (currently 1.16GB used space)

But when I remove the SD card, I do not find any folders or video/image files.

Can I access the SD card while still installed in the camera?

Since the camera is not a Windows or Mac OS, you will not see it pulling it out.

You have to log into the camera GUI from a web browser and then go to the record section and find the video. I think on that GUI is the home icon top left and then scroll over a page or two to get to record.

Thank you. Found it!!!!

That looks better, but could also be from the sun in a different direction.

Can you take a screenshot of that same vehicle/time from BI the way you were doing it before?

Way betta!
Not seeing the severe artifacts

No idea where you left off on settings.
I'd try 0-3
0-50 gain
DNT 30 and leave the rest at default

But hey, it looks ok as is.

Bottom line is that it will struggle the less light you have. So dusk-1 and dawn+1-2 will probably show that more

Yeah I'd say the blocking we saw earlier was from the time of day. Even though it was daytime, it was struggling a bit.
