Funny / Satire

I am in my early 40's, never had debt besides my house.
Me either except for a fairly small car loan that I paid off early, and a loan from my mom. Just for debate, if you're running up the student debt for a career that has a reasonable chance of being worth it in the end, like doctor, medical researcher, maybe lawyer, it might be a reasonable risk. But to on top of that run up car, personal, and credit card debt is stupidity, and anybody that stupid probably won't be able to get a job that's able to pay of the student loans.

A buddy of mine found a camper he wants. He was talking to the dealership and finally got them to agree on a price he was willing to pay. He said great, draw up the paperwork and he will be there to pick it up with cash in hand.

They came back the next day and told him that the only way that they can honor the price they gave him was if he were to take a loan, if not they will have to raise the price by $4000 because with the price they quoted him was including the kickbacks they were going to be getting from the loan. They said no one buys campers anymore with cash.

Whatever happened to the days when the cash price was cheaper than the listing price……

Yeah, I am finding that the ole Cash is King days are pretty much gone. Most recently, found this out in my truck purchase. I don't understand it, I gave them cash, they would be making interest on the cash immediately.
Also have found this in Contractors too, I guess they all pay their taxes now, use to be cash would help the small guy not have to report every job. Maybe it is the $600 thing Biden started, keeping track of our money...don't know...

None of this will stop me from paying cash, I am not getting a loan and making the rich man richer...of course until they do away with cash... :( If I don't have the cash for something, I don't buy/need it...

I went to Barnes & Noble yesterday and asked the clerk if they had Donald Trump's new book on how to deport illegals.

She said "Get the F*ck out of here and dont come back!"

I replied, "Yeah, that's the one. Do you have it in paperback?" :lmao:
