I acquired this wireless ip camera from Gearbest.
Vender: MF <--really generic
Model: SC2135ETH
firmware: 50.1.0.34
software/app: m.home360

pros: easy setup, good 1080 quality(comparing to my 720p Wansam/Foscam) and fisheye lens view. Alert via mobile when motion trigger.

cons: no internal dsn to setup alerts or email. More options on desktop than mobile.
in Desktop, video could only be saved to local drive(nas not recognized) but BUT... you can save picture to NAS. hmmmm weird.
On mobile, it shows SD card space Total and Used but nowhere able to play it. Desktop timelime is empty.

I like TinyCam apps but unable to add this camera not listed and tried generic. Suppose to support onvif.

I would like to have it take snap shot and email to me when motion detected or record video to nas drive as I have with my 720 wanscam without having my pc on.

Anyone have an idea? trying to get my raspberrypi and orangepi working so I could use that as my OS to run the 3rd party software( as DVR) since it consume less energy than standard pc.

What's a low cost 1080 ip cam easy to use?

Hi CameronIP,

The following camera has been a very popular quality Hikvision OEM IP camera with members here:
ANNKE I61DR 2MP (Hikvision Cube Clone)

iirc - it was currently out of stock last I checked, so you may have to keep an eye on when it comes back into stock in the USA

cool thanks. just checked. I see Alexvas from Tinycam is here also.
There's a lot of pages. How's the software support for it?

You can install Hikvision firmware on it but you have to update sequentially. See the Cliff Notes link in my signature for a couple pieces of information on this camera.

What do you consider “low cost?”

You guys should junk that junk and spend $100.00 to purchase a single Dahua 2MP Starlight camera. You won't be disappointed because you'll have great day and night images, and it'll will probably cost you less because you won't have to spend frustrating hours futzing with it.

Hi. This is the only valid result from a google search about the camera SC2135ETH. Should I resurrect the topic and consolidate all here or create a new one?

Anyway... I cant acess ONVIF on this camera and also there is no web interface for it. Anyone knows where to get firmwares updates/downgrades? Mine is at version 50.1.0.87. If there is no update for it, where to find a compatible one from another maker?

Thank you!

@Antonichen ,

I suggest you consider the Dahua-builtAmcrest IP2M-841W-V3 . It's an indoor cam.

The version 3 provides AI/auto tracking of moving objects. It is ONVIF compatible, provides RTSP, is 1080p, IR, 2-way audio plus mike in/speaker out, has pan/tilt/digital zoom, record to micro SD card, wired or wireless and has alarm in/out, great with Blue Iris, VLC, etc. Comes with wall/ceiling mount, 1/4"-20 tripod mount female insert on bottom. Available in black or white for under $50 !

I've installed 4 of the similar non-V3 versions and 3 of it's lower-res (720p) cousins in the last 3 years and all have functioned with no hiccups.

I have also set one up with Tinycam Pro on a Sony smart TV (Android).

EDIT 4/1/21: V3 does NOT provide relay I/O nor jacks for an external mic and speaker.
