Getting Tinycam working with Motion Detection

Hey guys, quick question.

We have a TV that we use to monitor our cameras. It is on the kitchen wall and we are not always looking at it, we are normally in the family room watching tv but we can see the kitchen tv.

What I would like to get going is have motion detection on the cameras working so if someone is walking up to our door, Tinycam makes a noise and it would draw my attention to the tv. I tried setting it up but when we set the motion to in app, the app crashes after a few minutes. This is on a Firetv box connected to our tv. If I set it up as In Camera motion, it doesn't seem to work.

Anyone have any ideas on how to get this neat feature working?

Hey Alex, i have 5 DS-2CD2342WD-I 4mm and one Hikvision cube camera. The app is great, it's my go to app but really want to figure out the motion.

Try to switch to on-camera motion detection in the app. Do you still have the crash?

using the on camera motion setting seems to work.
