Hi all,
We've just completed a 32 camera installation at a commercial premises.

A few of the cameras have IR ghosting issues and I'm wondering if anyone could offer some tips on rectifying the issue?

We have considered the following and rectified:

1) IR Position in relation to camera frame/body
2) Wall, ceiling and object reflection
3) Direct light into the lense/IR
4) Cleanliness of dome cover and lens

Thanks in advance.

See the PDF here Hikvision Foggy as ***
check the foam ring.
This is why domes are frowned upon.

Greatly appreciated. There was a PDF in that thread from Hikvision that cleared things up, pardon the pun.

We may have mounted a bit too close to the guttering above. (approx. 6 inches from the guttering)

Q; Would 6 inches clearance from a wall or ceiling be sufficient?

We will also check out the foam/rubber ring to ensure it is sitting correctly.

It all depends on the camera and its ir and view. Only one way to find out.

Here is our mounting location: (I'm thinking we're too close to the ceiling AND the guttering that overhangs by about 50mm)

We're relocating it right to the edge so the lens and IR are well below the overhanging guttering.

I'll post the result tomorrow. Here's hoping its all clear!
