After a lot of quick study time to get somewhat up to speed on IP camera systems, I placed an order with Milkisbad on Saturday evening. Products shipped out promptly on Monday and delivered to TN on Wednesday evening. Many thanks to Milkisbad for being so efficient on this order.
Sure, I could have gone the route of Aliexpress but how much is my time worth and, more importantly, how much is a 3 year warranty from LTS worth? If I have questions, all I have to do is email or call to get LOCAL help here in the states. I know that I am always taking a chance when I buy grey market equipment direct from China. Besides, I would rather help support a local business.
On top of all that, because I dropped over a grand, I was treated extremely well with some extra freebies! Again, many thanks to Milkisbad for taking good care of me and answering all of my noobie questions so quickly. I still saved huge money compared to some of the other retailers out there and I have the satisfaction of knowing that I have a valid warranty and great customer support if the need arises. I need to spend my time working my business, not chasing down minor software issues that can cost me lots of lost time, equating to lost income. Now, if I am away from the shop or the next midnight prowler comes around, I will have evidence that things have happened in my absence.
Now, how do I get that sentry turret gun hooked into the camera system?????
