Google Chrome with Hikvision cameras, can it be made to work?

SeaMonkey browser for Windows still supports the VLC .xpi plug-in, if that helps any.

I am using the "IE Tab" extension in Chrome and it works with a Swan Hikvision.

Most of plugins and extensions will be killed soon in Chrome too
