Hi,
I got my new NVR DS-7608NI-E2/8P, I connect it first to LAN then connect camera to POE and start it on,
I can't see the camera that I connected to POE, why ?
(The camera is power on, and the 2 leds (yellow/green) in the NVR is blinking)

Regards.

Connect the camera to the LAN, find the status and IP address with SADP, connect with a browser to ensure the camera is 'activated' and accessible.

Yes I saw that what happen, I connect camera1, change to manual, it's works, the camera2 wasn't "actived" first so I can't add it,
OK I have more questions:
1. When I add the cameras put all on Port 8000? or change this to each camera?
2. When I add the cameras put all Channel to "1"? or change this to each camera? (1,2,3 ...)
3. To continue with the IP's that the NVR give? (168.254 .. something like that) or change manually ?

Regards.

Leave all on 8000 - matching what's on the cameras. No reason to change that on PoE ports.

I'm pretty sure all your (unspecified) cameras will only work on channel 1.

3. To continue with the IP's that the NVR give? (168.254 .. something like that) or change manually ?
No great reason to change what the NVR has set - unless they are not in a neat sequence and you like to have the setup very tidy. I do ...
