The newer 4MP cameras from HIKVISION supports h.264+

Can anyone confirm if BI supports h.264+ or h.264 zip?

Thank you!

Its supposed to be backwards compatible...the spec sheets dont even mention it...if it will be an option in future firmware upgrades then im sure there will be an option to select h.264 or one of these formats...the cameras will work fine with blue iris.

Hi, only the WD cameras (WDR ones) support H.264+. You can also run them at H.264 normally. @fenderman, the specs sheet do mention it?

H.265 is supposed to HEVC > H.264 and similar to VP9 (which technically is also H.265) but all of these are proprietary standards. It's about time everyone agreed on one proper standard and called it something unique.
