Hoping someone has ideas on this one. I configured an i5x8600 (W10 64bit) with 8 cameras using BI 4.8.6.3. All was stable but CPU was over 50% so I enabled Intel hardware acceleration. On restart the CPU was down to 9-14% but my 4 Dahua cameras (2 Dahua branded, and 2 Amcrest branded Dahua) started experience issues:
- Dahua cameras regularly disconnect from BI
- Show a black screen when I select them from mobile app - if I toggle amongst cameras I can occasionally get one of the Dahuas to show an image
- Dahuas are 2mp, 4mp, and 8mp models but all are set to 15 FPS and H.265.
The 4 Dahua cameras work fine on direct connection, and the BI connection issue for all 4 Dahua cameras goes away immediately if I disable Intel hardware acceleration. My other cameras work fine with or without hardware acceleration.
I’d like to reenable hardware acceleration for the heat/power/noise savings but only if all cameras are reliable - anyone seen this one before and/or have ideas?
