Hello newbie's to experts,

I was going to buy for my home until I started to have problems on our boat dock. What I have is no internet or phone service on the dock. I do have solar for the dock that produces 120v. So I would like to know if IPC-HDW5231R-ZE can be set up at home on internet and then take it to the dock with sd card and plug into power to record for motion to sd card? If not what other options do I have?

The option that Andy suggested was to set up the camera on my network at home then remove it and set it up on the dock. Set up camera use the electric for power and sd card to record. You can then remove the camera and hook it back to my network and go to the website to view or remove the sd card install into a card reader. Andy did say I can not hook it into the DVR to view according to Dahua.
