Since I get no hits on this new? Dome 4K camera (HDBW2831R-ZS), I will start a new thread.
1) I assume since the Lux sensitivity levels look a little better than a HDBW5831R-ZE, that the night performance will be as good as I have seen here or better, with an IR Illuminator??
2) I am a little concerned the datasheet says "fixed focus". Does that mean the lens quality is not on a par with a true vari-focus lens?? Will the focus be off?? can it be internally adjusted???
3) Is this a good choice for a reasonably priced 4K Dahua dome ptz at this time, is there another recommendation?
I will be using it outdoors on a post, under a PT 2x4, to view my long driveway on a mountain. Dark, but will use an illuminator which I hope will help eliminate internal reflections/IR issues with these domes??
Any other info on this camera would be appreciated.
Ande, when to you expect to be back in stock?
I also want to ask about a HDBW2802R-Z-DP.
It is speced as a Starlight, and also about 1/2 inch sensor, but the Lux min level (.005) not quite as good as above camera. Some say starlight is just better in low or no light, but reading the specs, what does that mean??
But key question about this camera: It shows no IVS, and I like to use Tripwire and the like (cause I really enjoy the false alarms from tree shadows moving in the wind, and even dropping leaves smaller than my specified object size....???? !!!! apparently this does not work, but I digress, any info on fixing that in general appreciated. Other Dahua cameras.
Anyway, this camera (HDBW2802R-Z-DP) really has no IVS???? What is it an old, high-end Dahua that predates IVS???
Any preferences / info in comparing these 2 cameras, or recommendation for another really appreciated.
I think I would enjoy the PTZ down on the driveway up to my house (wooded, animals, etc) , so I thought I would take a risk on the Dome.
thanks for any info.
