HDD Property

I have a hikvision NVR, main hdd 4tb is in a nas box, which works fine.

i have added a second hdd 160gb inside the NVR.

how would i record to both hdd (set the hdd property to RW on both?

Or

set one to RW and the other to Redudancy?

Any ideas?

Thanks for the reply what would I do to achieve if the nas box goes offline it records to the internal hdd and when it's back online it switches back?

I missed the main drive being a NetHDD - just assumed both were local.
I think you need to test it and see.
The NVR checks the existence of the NAS NetHDD destination once every few seconds.

Have tested this

Parameters set
nethdd 4tb on nas set to RW
internal 160gb hdd set to redundancy

set 4 cams on continuous record
changed IP on NFS share to other than NVR ip (simulate disconnection)

nvr displayed for net hdd offline

nothing was recorded to internal hdd.

Afrer setting internal hdd to RW it was recording

cannot seem to find a way to do what I want to achieve, anybody have anything else I could try?
