HDW5231R-ZE and PFA137 Junction Box

Dahau's website states to use the PFA137 Junction box with the HDW5231R-ZE camera, however when reviewing the cliff notes it states there is a gap when PFA137 is used with a turret camera.

Can anyone confirm I should be using PFA130 with HDW5231R-ZE If need it to be waterproof? Thanks

Based on recently getting one of each I'd say the 130 is much more weather resistant.

The 137 seals nicely to the base of the turret mount, but there is no seal between the turret itself and the "eyeball". So, yes, in that regard it is open/exposed. Mounted base up under an overhang/soffit probably no big deal. But, if the mount location is more exposed personally I would use the 130.
