Hi everyone,
New to the IP camera scene. This place looks like it has the best answers to my questions especially since I am using Blue Iris software.
I have read most of the help sections on the software but I am sure I am not using at least 70% of BI potential.
I have a simple set up. A couple of Microseven cameras and waiting on a decent Dahua PTZ camera to arrive.
Was trying to run everything over wireless in the 2.4GHz range and I thought the cameras were garbage (maybe they still are). The images would pixelate, jump from one place to another, lose connectivity, etc.
When I got a chance to directly connect them to PoE switch and not use wireless - WOW, what a difference. Maybe they are crap but they are perfectly smooth now and the picture is so much better.
Anyway, looking forward to learning a lot more about IP camera technology and Blue Iris software.
Thank you for letting me join in on the fun.
