Hi everyone,
I recently installed a Dahua VTO2202F intercom as an outdoor station and connected it to my gate opener motor, a BFT A400, following the manual's instructions. However, I've encountered a strange problem.
Every day, at around 12:03 PM, my gate mysteriously opens by itself. After a short while, it either closes again or sometimes stays open for a long time before closing.
Upon investigating, I noticed something unusual:
Under normal circumstances, the indicator light on my gate opener’s control board lights up when the COM and NO terminals are connected, signaling the motor to open or close the gate. However, after connecting the intercom (VTO) to the opener, the indicator light on the control board faintly glows instead of lighting up fully. This suggests there’s a weak current between the COM and NO terminals even when no signal is being sent.
I suspect this might be related to the issue of the gate opening and closing on its own. Has anyone else encountered a similar problem or know how to resolve this?
Any advice or insights would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you in advance!
