Hi,
I want to replace my old cameras, 1 - Foscam FI9805W, 2 - Ganvis Dome 5MP
Here is what I see at the cameras:
Foscam:

It's capture the yard + entrance.

Ganvis:

It's capture the front door entrance.

I need 2 recommends for 2 cameras,
1 bullet, 1 dome to replace these cameras.
I prefer that it will be good at night, as I have there only streets lights/moon light.
and I prefer that with the dome camera I will see faces (as it's capture the door)

Regards.

Entrance 6mm and 4mm I would go with the turrets either Dahua or Hikvision, both very good camera's and good in low levels of light for that sort of view 3MP is plenty.
But the day images you have posted are also nice and clear covering the trap area very well.

Also at night the Foscam is nice, but I prefer that all camers will be the same company. (maybe I crazy?? :))
But the Ganvis is not so well.
From what I readed, the 3MP cameras of hikvision not so good at low light, people prefer 2mp/4mp.

Regards.

If you use the turret cameras they work great, it's about balance between day and night the 4mp good camera but due to sensor size there is to much barrel roll for me and no image compensation to rectify this at the moment in the firmware, also you say you have other lights around, so you have back drop lighting as well as the IR of the camera 3MP should be bang on.

Use the turret style for both.... The 4mp will have much improved night vision...

You've PM'd me on this (to which I've replied) and we've covered it above already (where @fenderman has already recommended the same cameras).

Turrets: DS-2CD2032-i, DS-2CD2042-i or dish out for DS-2CD2042WD-i which is better at night (but you probably don't need). Get one 2.8mm and one 4mm. See how that goes first. (Edit: Go down two posts as I wrote the wrong numbers out)

Also you don't need 20m to 30m focus on any of your photos. Get a tape measure out rather than guessing so badly. More like 20ft to 30ft.

First picture is 50m long pool... 2nd is 25m long pool... just for your guide to how long 20 to 30m really is.

@Del Boy,
Thanks for your comment, "DS-2CD2042-i" this one I can't find at Hikvision site, so I believe they change it to this "DS-2CD2042WD-i".
About the
DS-2CD2032-i, I read that it's not the best one at night, so I prefer 2mp/4mp.
About the 2.8mm I didn't see mention in hikvision on this lens.

Regards.

Sorry my bad - wrote it wrong

DS-2CD2042WD-I 4mm bullet (for yard) - WDR version
DS-2CD2342WD-I 2.8mm turret (for door) - WDR version

Those are the two you want. DS-2CD2032-I and DS-2CD2332-I will be fine at night with your lighting. People were talking about the 2MP / 4MP WDR range... the non-WDR range won't be any better (I'm guessing the 4MP will be slightly worse and 2MP slightly better).

Many thanks for your help.

Regards.
The turret does everything the bullet can do, only better. There is no reason to buy the bullet unless you like the way it looks over the turret. The turret is better when it comes to spiders, has better IR, and is more vandal resistant.
