Good morning all,
I used to use the Blue Iris software at an old property, but it meant theat the only pc I had available to run it was quite power hungry and needed to be left on 24/7.
At the new house I put in a dedicated NVR (Avenger), but have found the capabilities of it were no where near as good as the Blue Iris software provided. I can only view the feeds real time with a app that shows adverts every time I open it. I always have to re add the cameras and I can't view recorded feeds via the app. Not much use trying to see something remotely.
I have a HP proLiant server currently but it doesn't have the power to run Blue Iris or the 3 external and 1 internal camera I currently have, so I am looking at a newer model.
I really want a lower power device I can use and wondered if any one would know if the newer HP ProLiant MicroServer would be suitable?
Last thing I want to buy is a pc or server that isn't suitable
HP Tower Servers 819185-421 | Servers Plus
HP ProLiant MicroServer Gen8 (Celeron Dual Core)
Intel Celeron G1610T Dual-Core (2.30GHz 2MB 35W) 4GB (1 x 4GB) PC3L-12800E 1600MHz UDIMM (Low Voltage) 4 x Non-Hot Plug 3.5in Dynamic Smart Array B120i No Optical 200W 1yr Warranty
Thanks in advance
Pete
