I have multiple Dahua IPC-T5442T-ZE cameras recording 24/7 to Blue Iris. I have also installed Micro SD cards in each camera, but they don't seem to be recording. I just left the camera settings on default because I thought they would record to the memory cards. Can anyone help me with the settings necessary for this to happen? Perhaps I should just have the cards get data when motion is detected? Thanks!

Also, what software is necessary to actually view video from the memory cards?

You need to either set up smart plan and an IVS rule (preferred option) or use Motion Detection or Smart Motion Detection and then check the record box for whichever option you are using.

Blue Iris set no parameter in any cameras. The most it will do with a camera is move a PTZ.
All changes to a camera are made in the camera.

A note, I have yet to have an SD card survive more than a few months in the Texas heat and Humidity.
