FYI - not mine of course, good example of an extreme situation

Intruder with Gun ends up in a Shootout

Hesperia, Ca - On Monday, January 18th, 2021. A man with a gun was trying to get into a house in the 17800 block of Orange St. The man in the house also had a gun, a gunfight broke out and the man left. The man lives on the 8900 block of Avocado Ave (just down the street). Police and Swat surrounded the suspect house but no one was found inside.

Wow, very disturbing...
The link below has some details on the suspect.

9mm is nice, but a 12ga would have eliminated the problem very quickly.

Hope the homeowner gets some serious training after this. Glad they made it ok.

And again, those of you new to the world of cameras, take 5 minutes to learn how to properly export video from your NVR before the need arises, and not use your flipping phone.

He had the training with the tool that mattered the most, a gun.

^^^^ I wouldn't be so sure about that. He stated the gun fired "accidentally" while he was loading it.

"Humility. I’m sure you would of acted as smoothly as James Bond."

Yes, I would have and have. I have been training with firearms for almost 50 years and can still hit the floor with my hat when I drop it.

Im not sure but it looks like he wet his pants at about 1:30 just before he took off.
Ok, just watched the rest of it and his "panic" was noticed.
