Hik connect says invalid username/password

I have 3 Hikvision cctv cameras, of which 2 are DS-2CD2032-1, and a more recent one: DS-2CD2042WD-I WDR 4 mm IR.
When I open the Hik-Connect app it sees the DS-2CD2042WD-I, but not the other 2. I try to add them maually, but everytime I enter the username and password, it say they are invalid. I have checked and double checked the login details and can log into the cameras by the web.

Is there any way I can get the 2 said cameras working in the app,

For adding a camera to a Hik-connect account you do not need the username/password for the camera.

You just need a valid Hik-connect account, the serial number of the device, and the verification code of the device.

Ok thanks, but what is the actual serial number, because in the cameras interface/configuration , the serial number is about 30 characters, letters. numbers and dashes
