Ok thinking of ditching the old laptop. Can only get 1x camera running at 1080p 25fps, 1x 720p 20fps and 1x 350x288 20fps.

any suggestions for a custom build to support 3x 2032 + 2x fi8910s?

looking for cheap low energy consumption but powerful enough to handle cameras.

found these 2 options on NCC, thoughts?

Intel DualCore E5700 --- $75

2TB SATA HD --- $120

The hikvision motion detection sucks, flat out,
Please dont say this :/ Im currently in the process of installing some hikvision domes/bullets and plan to use the inbuilt motion detection. I assumed being hikvision the motion detection would be reliable/accurate.

Maybe you'll have a different experience but even when I set it to 40 out of 100 it was pretty terrible. On the upshot, you won't miss anything, lol.

Hopefully you will have more success than me. Let me know if you find a work around. Good luck
