good day all together

I have a Hikvision camera type 2CD2041 here
this new camera is active in SADP and therefore you need to know the password if the camera had been inactive then you can enter the password in SADP yourself.
apparently someone has already installed this camera once.
resetting the camera does not work in this case.
you must send a QR photo to Hikvision or a file generated by the SADP program.
may I ask in all modesty which crazy thing such a thing.
here is someone on the forum who knows how we can solve this outside of Hikvision

regards,

Doesn't that camera have a reset button on the back?
If so - power off the camera, press the button, power on, keep pressed for 30 seconds or so.
Check status in SADP.

how we can solve this outside of Hikvision
A couple of other methods to do this :

For the firmware that has the 'Hikvision backdoor' - ie 5.4.4 or earlier -the @bp2008 updated reset tool should work -
Hikvision camera admin password reset tool

If that doesn't work, and the firmware is 5.4.4 or older - try this URL and if it provides a configuration file, zip it up and attach here and I will decrypt and decode it and extract the password.
http://<camera_IP_address>/System/configurationFile?auth=YWRtaW46MTEK

And if the firmware is newer, and no reset button, re-apply the same firmware using the Hikvision tftp updater tool.
That will reset to defaults.
