I have my NVR set up with two internal drives as well as a NAS. I noticed that in my camera settings, there is its own storage management section where you can also configure a NAS and even trigger events to upload to "Upload to FTP/Memory Card/NAS".

If I set another NAS up on the camera, will it record to that as well as the NVR, as well as the NAS attached to the NVR?

I like my redundancy as you can see...

I assume that the NAS on the cameras are more for if you dont have an NVR and want to use them as standalone. Just curious if I could get an extra "backup" by using this as well or if it will then prevent recording to the NVR.

Thanks!

A few of my cameras have SD cards in them already that are already recording to it as my backup. For those that don’t have the SD, was going to try and get a separate NAS set up for them to save to redundantly.
