Hikvision different manufacturers

Looking through my tool "Advanced Ip scanner", Seems there are different manufacturers for Hik or maybe it was the result of their internal FW hacked cooking they made before shipment?

same models can be from different manufacturers too, so this is not specific to particular model.

- Eka Systems Inc.
- FN-LINK Technology Limited
- Hangzhou Hikvision Digital Technology Co.,Ltd.







Some of them displays correctly the model on column name discovery, some others just simply the IP adress; MAC adress are fine for all.

More likely the tool is simply reporting the manufacturer to whom the MAC address was assigned.
This can be set at the firmware level where the MAC address is defined in the flash memory for example in Hik NVRs, or by the manufacturer of the Ethernet NIC that Hikvision has used in the hardware of other devices.
That information can vary widely, can as you imply be messed with, and doesn't necessarily reflect the top-level manufacturer.
