Hi all I got 2, US versions of the hikvision DS-2CD2032F-I . Problem im having is that I loose them both at the same time once a day..The only way i can get them back is to unplug my switch from router for a minute plug back in then im fine for another day. This happens every day. Ihave other cams on system acti b95, and some wireless foscams that im not having any problems with . im also running Blue Iris 4.

You say you get the cams back when you unplug your switch from the router? So the cameras stay powered on the whole time?

Sounds like a bad switch to me. Or just a bad port on the switch. Or a bad port on the router for that matter.

I tried a different poe for one cam they still go out at the same time . Not having any problems with other cams . Hik's are the only cams doing it.. soft ver 5.3.0 ..can see them on sadp tool coming and going till i unplug from router. running airport express for router.

If they are TRUE US region cameras, why dont you try the latest firmware...

just got them a month ago on amazon thought that they had the latest ver.

Be careful, if you got them on amazon, there is a good chance they are NOT us region...and you will brick your camera...
do the go of line at the same time of day each time?

yea they came in us box. seller said hikvision wont support. read alot of reviews about seller they were all good

these cams work great otherwise.someone else had same problem that no one could figure out so he just resets every day.

to eliminate your network, I would start with hooking them up to a switch directly to your pc..and run them for a day...

Do you have IPv6 enabled on your router?
If so, another experiment would be disabling that for a while.

I'd agree with @bp2008 that if the issue is fixed by temporarily unplugging the switch from the router, the problem is not the cameras crashing.
It sounds like either the router or switch port is locking up and not passing traffic.

Presumable the Foscams, and maybe the Acti, are connected to the router?
If so, and they are OK, it would point the finger at the switch.

Update:::lost both cams at same time again today at 3:39 poe switch is pluged into my ethernet on computer acti is poe and thats fine its just the hik's unpluged switch from computer for about 1 min then pluged back in and they work ..its just like what the router was doing .weard how they work all day then suddenly both go out.. if i ping cams after i loose them ip comes and goes. I tried using a axis poe single injector on one cam to see if it was switch and they still both went out at the same time. i also used2 computers at same time one with win 10 and one with win 7 that ruled out comp.

Are your cams using dhcp or fixed IP addresses? If dhcp, try fixed instead. perhaps your cams have issues renewing their dhcp leases...

fixed IP ..Get this I turn my computers bluetooth on i loose them both..reset again...then turn bluetooth off i loose them again. or when ever there is an comp update
