Hikvision DS-2CD2x32-I (R0) brick-fix tool / full upgrade method / fixup roundup.

GPT Chat made me crazy... Guys... I have a DS-2CD2032F-I camera (CN version as I understand).

Was trying to upgrade firmware in order to get Hik-Connect working. GPT chat told me everything is gonna be okay. I've downloaded Batch Configuration tool and successfully updated to brick_fixv2\brickfixv2CN.dav. The next step was to flash it to IPC_R0_EN_STD_5.4.5_170401\digicap.dav .....and FAILED. After that I tried Tftpd64_Installer_v4.71, but was unable to flash the camera no matter how hard I tried (connected computer and camera directly via patch cord, same IP zone etc.. maybe something was wrong in those parameters)... Tried to flash back old firmware but looks like it is not working also... so here I am. Please help and advice what to do... I was following every step with CHAT GPT but his instructionts are not working(((

No, the next step was to follow the instructions to edit the flash partition to change the region from CN to EN.
After that you can update with the international firmware.
It seems that ChapGPT has misled you on the needed steps.
Check the instructions on the first post, and also the YouTube video.

well... looks like now ChaGpt helped me finally brick it...
into DS-2CD2032F-I with china firmware v5.3.0, (connected directly via patch cord), flashed batch config brick_fixv2\brickfixv2CN.dav successfully. Then I failed to flash IPC_R0_EN_STD_5.4.5_170401\digicap.dav.
Then I've read the 1st post of the thead and told ChatGPT to read it, he said he found the way out.
Then
telnet mkdir -p /dav/factoryecho EN > /dav/factory/region
Then one more try to flash IPC_R0_EN_STD_5.4.5_170401\digicap.dav and failure.
Then he found that "/dav/factory/region" contains 3 bites, so it looks like EN.
So "echo EN > /dav/factory/region" worked.
Then I copied via FileZilla FTP IPC_R0_EN_STD_5.4.5_170401\digicap.dav to the camera\tmp folder.
Then:
# /bin/upgrade /tmp/digicap.dav[ INFO][MIN]BURN: File size is 23463841 bytes (22913 KB)[ INFO][MIN]BURN: Writing Flash[ INFO][MIN]BURN: ................................................................#
At first looked like nothing happened - camera was online in SADP with no changes...
ChatGPT told me to reboot it and it is gone... cannot see it nowhere now..

You can't convert the camera to EN and get it to accept the EN firmware without changing the language byte in the flash partition and adjusting the checksum bytes.
It does look like ChatGPT has misled you again.
Check the step by step instructions in the first post.
