Hi I recently purchased a Chinese Hikvision NVR model ds-7604n-e1/p4 with multi-language v3.4.6.
I am looking at buying another camera. I would like the DS-2CD2142FWD-IS but can only get this is Original English. Do you think I will have compatibility problems and should I buy Chinese with hacked English or a certain firmware so I can plug it into the POE port of my NVR?
Another question is can the NVR set up a separate motion detection logging from the camera or is the motion detection same one as in the camera? (Ideally I would like the camera to log only alarm input changes to it's internal SD card and the NVR to log any motion change to it's hard disk)
