HIkvision DS-7716N-E4/16P Firmware upgrade please

Hi,

I have a Chinese HIkvision DS-7716N-E4 with Firmware V3.4.6 build 160405. All of the menus are in English, but I know the firmware can't be upgraded, as the vendor warned against it and there are no upgrades available in the interface.

I've never seen that upgrade button do anything even when there are definitely new versions available.

All of the menus are in English,

That means it's running 'hacked to English' modded firmware.
To upgrade, you'd need newer firmware also 'hacked to English'.
