Hi guys,

We have bought 2 HikVision DS-K1A802AMF. We want to implement a Time & Attendance system using DS-K1A802AMF. They way we went about it is by having a machine run IVMS server, creating the users and registering them keyfobs and fingerprint (basically make each person record their fingerprint in one of the Hik device). Then We added the users in the specific group for the Time Attendance machine and applied all the settings to the device. Problem is this. For some users we keep getting this error: "Applying the fingerprint failed. Check if the device hardware is normal. Try to restart the device and reapply. (Error code: DAG.ddl[13010])". Basically we encountered 2 times when the Finger prints and the keyfob were deleted for some users (about 4). They appeared in IVMS but the fingerprints and keyfobs where not there in the DS-K1A802AMF machines themselves. If we tried to "apply to all" we would get this error: " Applying the fingerprint failed. Check if the device hardware is normal. Try to restart the device and reapply. (Error code: DAG.ddl[13010])" for those users. Esentially we had to go to each device and make the users re-register their fingerprint and re-register their keyfob.

First question is this. Why do the devices automatically resets some of the user's fingerprints and keys, even tho the persons have the fingerprints and keys in the IVMS?
Second question is this. How to go around this problem. If the fingerprints and key gets reseted that wouldn't be a problem if we were able to reapply them, how to go about this error?

Thanks
