Hikvision Firmware issues

Might be long winded, will try to stay on the facts, appreciate your input.

Bought a system for my sister as follows:

DS-7604NI-E1-4P
V3.4.96 build 171128

Had issues with remoting into it, any changes I made it dumped me back to logon and sometimes went into abnormal shutdown/reboot.

Also would not attach pictures to the email.

Contacted my authorized dealer, they contacted Hikvision, was told to downgrade the firmware to:
DS-76xxNI-E1(E2)P_USA_Firmware_V3.4.92_170518

Did that today(Sis lives an hour and a half away) downgrade went as expected without a hickup. USB drive to port.

Re configured everything, remoted in with my laptop without issue. (one problem resolved)

Still wont attach pictures to email so I thought lets give a look at the camera settings..
Go to Config/System/Camera settings, and the connect link to each camera is empty...

Rebooted everything it stayed the same no links, no emails.
Even gave a shot at following my nvr settings and direct ip accessing them, nope.

Any suggestions from you ultra knowledgable folks? Many thanks.

No links showing in the Connect column?
Have you checked that Virtual Host is still enabled?

Ok, made the change as above, remoted to her computer and saved all email settings to the cameras, tested the settings, verified attach picture was enabled on all cameras and the nvr, verified alarm settings were working and emails were sent. Still no pictures attached to the emails. I'm stumped.
