Hi

I want to join my Hikvision Cams to my Home-Automation System RTI.
On my RTI System i have only a Generic MJPEG Video Viewer.

Can u tell me the correct URL for the MJPEG-Stream.

I already try this:

http://user:pass@192.168.10.24/Streaming/channels/102/httppreview
http://user:pass@192.168.10.24/Streaming/channels/102/preview

http://192.168.10.24/Streaming/channels/2/httppreview
http://192.168.10.24/Streaming/channels/102/preview?auth=xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx==

I see the Stream for 1Second, after that i see this failure:

<ResponseStatus version="1.0"><requestURL>/Streaming/channels/102/preview</requestURL><statusCode>4</statusCode><statusString>Invalid Operation</statusString></ResponseStatus>

Hi, I have the same issue with 'Invalid Operation error'. I want to embed the mpeg stream into my homepage. Any help appreciated.

First you have to set the sub stream to MJPEG while this is the only one available for MJPEG request (2xx2 IP cam series).
Then use the following syntax:

http://user:pass@ip_address/Streaming/channels/102/httppreview

This works for me (I've tested using VLC player).

I did this but the video stops after about 5 seconds. I have to refresh the page to start it again. Any clue?

I used "http://admin:password@192.168.1.64:8064/Streaming/channels/102/httppreview" red text without the quotes
