Hikvision NVR how to name ONVIF cameras?

I have a DS-9664-NI running 4.22 firmware. The NVR is for a mixture of Hikvision cameras and existing ONVIF compatible cameras. I don't necessarily need the camera names overlaid on the image (like I can do with the Hikvision cameras), but I need to at least be able to NAME the ONVIF cameras so I can ID them. If I go to Image/OSD settings, I get a "this camera does not support this function" error. Again, I just need to name them for ID purposes in other parts of the interface, but I can't figure out how to do that other than in the Image/OSD settings screen. Any help greatly appreciated. I've attached images to illustrate what I mean.

I would think you'd need to name them by logging into the camera web interface for each individual camera. That name should propagate down to the NVR after being saved.

I’ve never had trouble naming a camera using ONVIF... just a thought, in the camera adding section, is the protocol set to ONVIF for that cam?
