Hikvision NVR mouse stops working

After further investigation if you have both a wired mouse and an IR mouse plugged in the IR mouse works OK

I had the same problem with DS-7608NI-I2/8P. FW upgrade didn't help, but default reset did. And it's working now.

It's not the happiest solution but it's working.

Same problem here, solves by rebooting the NVR, which is a problem when it is not connected to the network, and the nvr is located at high ceiling

Had same problem our Hikvision with no mouse, but seeing cams...

My solution:
Navigate to General and set Menu Output Mode to HDMI....problem solved...!!!
Hope this helps.....

My solution:
I have 2 monitors connected- VGA and HDMI
When an HDMI monitor is connected the pointer moves only on that monitor, so sitting in the main location with VGA I didnt see the pointer. Disconnected HDMI briefly, did the work and reconnected hdmi. Fixed

If you have the output set to VGA make sure you use a VGA monitor as plugging in a HDMI screen will show the images but no mouse. Plugged in a VGA and sorted.
