Came across this, never seen it before, its a hik indoor pt, with pir, only 1mp...seems like the PIR sensor should have been put on the rotating portion...Not a fan of these little pt's, better off with a 3mp cube at 2.8mm for most use cases, but its interesting...

interesting is one way to describe it.. id rather have a celling mount a fraction of the size, oah wait I do :)

i didnt know hik did PT(Z) though, might be testing the waters.. hopefully the'll come up with some good $300-$400 outdoor cameras with IR and like 5x zoom.
 
Agreed...but at least there is an alternative to foscrap for those who "need" pt and tabletop form...

excellent point, for non security purposes its basically a fancy webcam, and you could do much worse.
