Hikvision settings not saving: DS-2CD2332-I running v5.4.5

Hi,

I'm hoping someone else has had this problem and fixed it, I'm trying to update my video settings and they are not saving.

If update the frame rate, it says it's saved, but on going back to the video tab it defaults to other settings. I'm using Internet Explorer and have web components installed and it shows live video footage fine.

1. Update settings as below, shows as saved:


2. On leaving video tab and re loading it returns these settings:

A couple of things to check:
Do you have any other system that has command of the camera settings, such as an NVR or a CMS?
Check under Storage | Schedule Settings | Capture Parameters if any low resolution snapshot is set, which would operate as a ceiling.

Thanks Alastair, I haven't checked changing the settings through the NVR will have a look tonight.

I did try de-activating Hik-connect but that didn't make any difference. With the capture parameters they are fixed to the video resolution, you can't change these independently.
