The big problem I see is how to scale this kind of thing up to handle, say, 200 head on 500 acres. That would take some serious fly paper! He's not farming commercially, for sure. If he were there would be all kinds of automated watering equipment, for the cattle, all over that pasture as is mandated by good old Uncle Sam.

It amazes me how well Flies can smell, 4 miles away, just looked it up...wow. Unfortunately the wife will not let me hang fly paper.

Sure enough, I invite the family for a cookout and here they come...we don't see any flies all week but sure enough, start up the grill and they tell their friends there is a party at my house...


We tried playing songs like "Fly Away" by Lenny Kravitz, not inviting the smelliest people, you know the people wearing diapers, haha, sorry Gramps...LOL...nothing worked...
