Hello everyone. I want to be able to see my cameras from my doorbell monitor.

I have the following devices:

  • 3 doorbell devices. 2 are display monitors. 1 is the doorbell camera.
  • dahua NVR5216-16P-I/L. And 8 dahua cameras connected to it.
  • All devices are connected to central router with fixes IP addresses.

My doorbell monitor is this one. see below.

On the IPC monitor i can add IPC, see below.

I am not sure what details i should put here to be able to access my IP cameras

I would think its the IP address of the dahua NVR? I tried that and it doesn't work.

From the Dahua NVR, i do see all 3 doorbell devices. So the connection is good.

But i dont know how to see my NVR cameras from my doorbell monitor devices.
Anyone been able to get these to work? I'm sure I might just be doing incorrect settings.

Thanks guys

I do not have a screen with my same NVR, but this is what I have seen online:

So on your VTH I think you need to change from 'IPC' to 'NVR' and then the channel.
Channel number maybe from 0-15 instead of 1-16, some products work from 0 upwards for counting the channels.

thanks for reply mate. Which channel do I choose? which protocol?

Which channel do I choose? which protocol?
What ever channel your other 8 camera's are connected to. Same channel as the NVR sees it.
Channel is the same port you plugged the camera into the back of the NVR.

Which protocol?
I presume it would be local.

It looks like you need to add each camera individually.

ahhh so the IP address is camera IP not NVR IP?

NVR IP address, select the channel number and the button to 'NVR'.
Just as that video on Youtube does.
