I have reolink camera Trackmix-POE -onvif compatible

I have dahua nvr of model Dahua NVR5232-16P-EI 32CH 16PoE 2SATA 4K H.265+AI 32MP NVR SMD+ Face Recognition | eBay

First step i am trying to do is power on reolink camera by connecting to Dahua NVR in one of POE port

However reolink camera is not getting powered on. I hear some mild sound in camera but it is not completely powering on.

How do i fix this power on problem

PS:

dahua NVR is working fine with dahua poe cameras

Reolink camera is working fine if i try to connect to reolink nvr

Thanks

I would try another Cat cable and see if that solves the issue. It could be there is an issue with the currently used cable? I know this, I took a cable that was connected to one of my POE NVRs and connected it to my POE+ switch and my Uniview POE+ camera didn't connect but does connect to the my NVR.. Even my Amcrest NVRs it will connect just not my Switch.. So I thought ok let change out cable and it connected to my switch with different cable.. I test the cable and it test out fine using just a normal cable tester the very cheap one. However when I tested the cable with one of my higher end units it told me the end was bad at the remote side.. So looking at the connector sure enough the end is there and all the pins are there but it didn't get jabbed in the center kind of to the outside so while my cheap tester seen all pins were 12345678 just fine my better tester that also does kind of a stress test detected that it was infact not good enough for high power connections and failed the end..

Hi Thanks for suggestion. I tried with different cables and 2 different cameras . All the time i get mild sound from camera but dont power on completely . I used same cable which comes along with the reolink camera itself

Hi @myfrndjk

Reolink in the past has had a number of compatibility issues with specs .. this is what I would try at this point,
put the Reolink on an IP PoE switch, set it to the IP on the LAN side of the Dahua NVR and then set the camera to ONVIF and "manually" add that IP address you have assigned to the camera to the Dahua NVR, indicating it to use ONVIF on that channel for the Reolink camera.

Thanks for suggestion. As of now i dont have switch, will buy one and try this

If your camera has a DCV jack for 12v and you happen to have supply around maybe one of your other devices came with one. Use that and connect ethernet cable to your router.. Then no need for POE+ Switch. Just an idea
