I need to delete few minutes from the recording of one of the cameras. How do I do that?

cant do it...not reason to do something like this...stop wasting your time...
OR export only the sections you want then keep that...

So the only way is to delete the file that has the duration I want to delete, from the disk itself.

first export any portion you need...seems like you are trying to micromanage blue iris...why? this makes no sense...

Why? if you are so paranoid, export everything else..keep it for a week...
then delete the file...
if you are going to micro manage everything, disable combine and cut so you can easily delete selected triggers..

If you are recording continuously, you don't really have a good way to delete one "scene". If you record on motion detection only, then disable the combine and cut feature on each camera in Blue Iris. That way your clip files will typically be under a minute each.

Thanks guys for clarifying. I had no choice but to delete the file that covered the duration I wanted to get rid of. Obviously the file was about 7 hours while my issue was with 10 mins only.

OR you could have exported the video BEFORE AND AFTER the event...then you would still have that other video...

exporting will produce a new cut file but original recording will still be there.
