How to improve night time video with 4300S

I just received a 4300S and am having some pretty bad night time quality compared to what I've seen in other videos. In the day it's pretty decent and I could probably see different facial features if someone's up close, however that's impossible at night. This is at 3MP 20FPS.

Here they are with and without the rear door's light:

This is a live video with ONVIF device manager, however is being handled with Blue Iris in evaluation mode in a VM (only have one physical server currently). I've already adjusted settings on the camera, onvif manager, and in blue iris and have only had a small bit of luck. What can I do to improve the quality?

This is common with the basic, 3mp cameras, you either have to add more natural light or add more IR..The 1.3 and 2mp are better in low light...
