How to make the video at night more sharp?

with the settings,
I've attached the settings with the image, from 1 to 8

I want that the object (people in this example) will be more shparer, more clear,
it's possible ?

What stands out to me is your noise reduction is too high. Keep it as low as possible.

You're probably not going to get where you want to be with that camera. Use it for a different location and replace it in it's current location with a Dahua Starlight turret form Andy (@EMPIRETECANDY).

The big problem with the sample images is the strong reflection from the wall/door frame affecting the overall exposure to the detriment of the dark areas.
You could try orienting the camera away from the wall to see how much the image improves.
Plus the low-light performance of the 2042WD is very poor - inferior to the previous R0 series by quite a good margin.
I bought one off eBay a while back and was surprised at how poor it was compared with the older R0 series.

Don't know much about Hikvision lowlight improvements over the past year bro...but I hear they've got some new ones which are pretty good.

If you have an Hikvision NVR then stick with Hikvision cameras.

Replace it with the Hikvision low light DS-2CD2025FWD-I with the 1/2.8 sensor. I have a couple and they are way, way better at night. You can also get the DS-2CD2035FWD-I. I have one of those and it works just fine at night.

I agree with @alastairstevenson. The wall is a problem. Can it be turned and used in a "corridor" mode? I'm not familiar with this cam so I don't know. External IR is the only way I was able to get decent night images from my 4mp Hikvisions.

You could also play with the Back Light Settings BLC Area.

This moves the IR, I was just playing with this setting this evening.
It seemed to make a difference on one of my cameras.
