hi,

i helped someone set up these cameras and they look gorgeous when living the cameras live. however when i try to play back the recorded footage. it plays at 352x240 resolution and looks like crap. where do i change the setting to have it record in 720P or higher and in better quality? i set up a 20TB NAS drive for this person so storage is not an issue.

Check to see what the video streams resolution is set to.

Configuration – Advanced Configuration – Video/Audio - Video

Check the Resolution, Video Quality and Frame Rate are all set to the highest setting possible for both the “Main Stream” and “Sub Stream”

Then go to

Configuration – Advanced Configuration – Storage - Record Schedule

“Recording Stream” should be set to record from the “Main Stream”.

Then go to

Configuration – Advanced Configuration – Image – Display Settings – Video Adjustment

Go to the second from bottom tab of the drop down menu “Capture Mode” change that to the highest setting should be “2048*1536@20fps”

Hope this helps

You might want to start off by letting us know what system you have or software your using. Otherwise, it's just a guessing game.
