How to setup storage for multiple hdd?

Instead of using just 1 hdd, I had several hdd that I have to store BI video. Is there a tutorial that I am missing that shows how to do this? I can do it easily with 1 hdd, but am not quite sure of the procedure with more than 1 hdd to go with multiple cameras.

I think I figured it out.

Split the cameras between drives. Assign 1/2 the cameras to each drive. for example if you have 4 cameras at the front of the house put 2 on one drive and 2 on the other drive. So if a drive fails you still have some video on what's going on.
