Hello,
I'm finally coming to understand a few things. 1). My FOSCAM 9831P does not really have an audio detection alert. 2). If I use Blueiris to alert on motion detection ... moving the camera with the PTZ controls appears to trigger a motion alert. While this does make sense to me ... is there any way to stop it? For instance, my room is quite small so the FOSCAM has to be turned to see all things I want to see. This activity trips BI motion detection. Any thoughts? Thanks.

You can use blue iris to alert on audio detection (audio trigger)...as far as not triggering while ptz...in the ptz tab there is a max travel time motion delay...not sure if that only works with presets or in general...probably only with presets, but you can use presets to move the camera around...
You issue with a small room and ptz, illustrates the benefit of a wider lens rather than ptz in many situations....
