How to tell if my NVR is a Hikvision Europe NVR?

Hey folks,

In another thread, folks noticed the 3.4.0 NVR firmware:

How can I tell if my NVR is compatible? It came with 3.3.4 and seems to have European languages. it has AARR in the serial number. Thanks!

Beware - though as yet AFAIK untested publically on this forum - 3.4.0 may well break Chinese cameras connected as ONVIF with a 'language mismatch error' which were OK on 3.3.4
Both my 7816 NVRs have AARR in the serial number, came with an Australian mains lead, and still work in English in 3.3.4 despite the region=2 in mtdblock0 due to web GUI updates keeping the region configuration from the original ML 3.0.8 firmware.
I'm not going to rush to try 3.4.0 - I suspect it may reduce functionality rather than improve it.

Hey folks, wanted to consider upgrading again - anyone else been trying this out?

Also - has anyone upgraded to 3.4 and tried the intrusion detection / line crossing detection? Would like to know if it finally attaches an image (like motion detection does) if these are set on the NVR (and not the camera), thanks!
