How to Run Wires or Drainage Under a Sidewalk or Driveway - The Great Outdoors

I had to research how to run my network cables & 24v DC under my driveway to my lamp post. I like this method of jamming a pipe in first, then pressure wash. Some of the ones I saw had folks just sticking the head of the pressure washer to make a hole. Which is bad as it leaves uneven hole gap even after inserting of pipe which leads to sidewalk cracking or failure over time. But this method seems to make it just right.
Other methods for a 10'+ distance would be that little hydraulic torpedo that the professionals use that cost a mini-fortune even just to rent.
I got lucky and found an existing abandoned 1" sprinkler pipe going under my driveway :)

Since we are sharing tips. My son-in-law asked for one of my post I had for our tree, forgot it was a T-Post and could not get it out. With T-post you need to leverage it out. Anyway, found this video, it worked great...

I've seen utility crews use a hydraulic bottle jack, 20 or 30 ton, to pull a pole that was snapped off.

Awesome, here in Texas they just ignore the pole.

I just grind them off at the ground.
