how to use different triggers based on different zones..

Experimenting with MQTT and trying to automate things. Right now, one zone covers the entire FOV and in case of motion, trigger MQTT... this part works fine. Now, I would like to use a second zone and send a different topic to turn on say, exterior lights when motion on the driveway is detected. I looked through profiles... seems like it could be done but would require switching profiles. But that would mean that the first zone covering everything won't trigger. I am probably having a brain freeze and can't seem to figure it out...

Any ideas on how to accomplish this?

Interesting idea. This could work and probably turn off recording etc., ... currently away from the system, will try and see if it allows adding the Alert function without recording... it should in theory...

Yes, just disable the recording on the cloned camera and setup alerts as you wish, as long as you record 24/7 on the original. I have many of my cameras setup like this. Use different profiles for how you want the system to react. Good stuff.
