Hypothetical arrangement possible/impossible?

@mat200 I am having trouble wrapping my mind around some of these comments. I've seen a NanoStation link an entire office full of engineers.

But I digress. I am considering a PC with Blue Iris. It appears to be the most flexible way to go.

Actually knowing the topology is important. So that should work as you described it. I envisioned 8 independent transceivers. Using 2 or 3 nano's as bridges with a few cams on each one should be fine. I am actually doing that with 2 nanostations one on 5ghz the other on 2ghz and each has a poe switch connected to 4 cams. This works really well although I am in a rural environment as well and there is no competition for freqs.

@NoloC This entire thread has been a learning experience for me. My original idea was to drop AP's where I need them. Add WiFi cams and then air bridge it all back to the source. About 7 posts up I was pretty much convinced that WiFi cams are not the way to go. This is a wonderful thing because I have not purchased any equipment yet and reached that point of no return only to learn things the hard way. It's why I came here in the first place as well.

I've always known I can route my data without wires. I just had to rethink how I make that happen since I am no longer short cutting with WiFi cams in the mix.

Sorry! Been nursing the flu in a recliner the last few hours.

Below is the image and instructions ==>> here.
